Liza Chapman, LMFT
Liza received her MA in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute where her studies emphasized a Jungian theoretical orientation. She did her undergraduate degree at New York University where she received honors in drama. It was in New York where Liza began her work with children & teens teaching theater and expressive arts to at risk youth.
Her clinical training included two years on the Childhood Trauma Team at Family Service Agency where she specialized in providing therapy to children and adults who had experienced trauma, abuse, loss and bereavement.
A lifetime advocate for children, Liza worked as in special education as the Educationally Related Mental Health Specialist of the Miller Creek School District for six years and has volunteered at the Double H Ranch, an Adirondack Summer Camp for children with life threatening illnesses.
